James Perloff on the 2024 Election: A Two-Edged Sword

On October 10, two days before I was to fly to Michigan to give a PowerPoint talk on world wars, my laptop began giving off a loud alarm and displayed a catastrophic warning message stating that my hard drive could not be detected. The timing was a little suspect, especially since the laptop had been working seamlessly and giving no hint of any issue up until the day before.

To shorten the story, I saw no quick fix, and notified my host in Michigan of the tenuous situation. I had my presentation saved on a flash drive, and told him my only chance to keep our plans alive would be to do my best to run out, buy a new laptop, and get it running with the needed apps, URL connections, me adjusting to Windows 11, etc.

The good news is that everything worked out, and Michigan went great. I’ll have a tape of the presentation up very soon. (Update: Now posted here.)

The downside: My next blog post was to be on illegal immigration, which may well be the most serious dilemma—among so many—that America and the West now face. Regrettably, although I had most of the research, graphs, and short relevant videos externally saved, the most up-to-date material was not, as I had become so focused on prepping for Michigan. It was lost along with the laptop.

As there is not enough time to reconstruct it and write the post before the election—after which the future of illegal immigration might change—I felt the best use of my time would be to make a few comments on the election itself. Please excuse the haste with which this post was written.

I think most of my readers already know the basics on illegal immigration anyway:
● Millions of illegals have crossed the border under the Biden administration.
● These people receive free housing, free food, free health care, free cell phones, and free debit cards, all at the expense of the American taxpayer, already cash-strapped. In Maine illegals live in luxurious furnished apartments with wide-screen TVs. In my state of Massachusetts, $1.8 billion is projected to be spent on illegals over the next two years, while legal residents see their services cut and Bostonians are battling a proposed 14 percent increase in property taxes. Oh, yes, and illegals in Massachusetts even qualify for financial aid to attend college.
● Although America has always opened its arms to people fleeing genuine oppression overseas, the tidal wave of illegals has been drawn here primarily by the allure of free goodies, not by any sudden upsurge in oppression abroad.
● Both in America and Europe, the immigrants are overwhelmingly males of military recruiting age—i.e., very few women, children and elderly. They effectively constitute a foreign army of occupation.
● Illegals are not being properly vetted before entering the U.S.   Venezuela and other countries have emptied out their jails and mental institutions and sent the inmates to America, where, in places like Aurora, Colorado, foreign gangs have seized control of entire apartment complexes.

As to the election’s outcome, trying to predict the future is always dangerous. As we saw in 2020, there are many ways to rig an election, including stuffing ballot boxes after midnight (so well documented in Dinesh D’Souza’s film 2000 Mules), destruction of ballots, votes from dead people, and of course, the dangers of electronic voting machines such as Dominion’s. Computerized election-rigging is quite easy to arrange, as computer programmer Clinton Eugene Curtis testified before U.S. House Judiciary members in Ohio back in 2004. As Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin famously said, “The people who cast the votes don’t decide an election, the people who count the votes do.”

As to who to vote for, I take the same position I did in 2016. Hillary Clinton held the wrong position on every single issue, domestic and foreign (pro-socialist, pro-abortion, pro-censorship, pro-Zionism, etc., etc.). At least with Trump, then an untested wild card, there was the probability that he would do a few things right.

In 2024, the situation is comparable. Like Hillary, Harris not only lacks character, but is wrong on 100 percent of the issues. Four years of Harris and Walz would be disastrous nationally and globally. That makes the obvious choice Trump and Vance. Even though they are committed Zionists, they would be right on immigration, would not push gun control, abortion and transgenderism, and would be unlikely to veto any conservative legislation. Cabinet and administrative appointments—possibly including Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.—would be vastly preferable to those Harris would likely select.

However, this does not mean I am a Donald Trump fan and optimist. The Deep State periodically moves back and forth between “liberal Democrats” and “conservative Republicans” depending on the current needs of its agenda.

Republican President Richard Nixon is a great example. It was he who, led by Henry Kissinger, opened the door to Communist China, setting the stage for U.S. investment, helping turn China from a backward communist state to the powerful technocratic communist state it is today. Nixon’s Democratic predecessor in the White House, Lyndon Baines Johnson, said:

Can’t you see the uproar if I had been responsible for Taiwan getting kicked out of the United Nations? Or if I had imposed sweeping national controls on prices and wages? Nixon has gotten by with it. If I had tried to do it, or Truman, or Humphrey, or any Democrat, we would have been clobbered.1

“Only Nixon could have gone to China” has become a popular political maxim.

The same axiom applies to Donald Trump. Before I discuss the dangers of a Trump Presidency, let me positively acknowledge most of his supporters. The “MAGA” people are good citizens; they are pro-life, anti-illegal immigration; they support Constitutional rights and traditional values.

However, just as with Nixon, the Deep State may have its uses for Trump. Pastor Chuck Baldwin, who was the Constitution Party’s Presidential candidate in 2008, wrote in 2020:

Anyone who has bought into the hype that all of these government lockdowns, a ruined economy, suppression of our liberties and a total disruption of our way of life are for the purpose of saving lives has drunk some serious Kool-Aid. . . .
As I pointed out in this column last week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo admitted that the corona scare was a government exercise (read: a practice run-through for something bigger). It was an exercise for total government control over our lives. This has been the agenda of Big Government statists in both political parties for decades. With constant fearmongering and hysteria from Big Government hacks in the mainstream media over the coronavirus, the power elite have taken the American people further down the road to serfdom and slavery than any previous attempt.
And I will say it again: This plan would not have worked had Donald Trump not been in the White House. This plan totally depended on evangelical pastors and churches sheepishly going along with it. This they would not have done had a liberal Democrat been in the White House. Are you kidding? Commanding churches to cancel their services—no communions, no baptisms, no Easter services—a total shutdown of houses of worship nationwide? Are you kidding me? You and I both know that if Hillary Clinton were president and she had said that no more than ten people could assemble in church—or anywhere else, for that matter—pastors and Christians would have protested in the streets and would have defiantly continued their public services en masse. But, because Donald Trump issued the declaration, almost the entire evangelical world bowed the knee to the state without a whimper.
The rest was easy. Restaurant closures, business closures, school closures, travel restrictions, rationed medical care and empty hospitals: Once evangelicals had been neutralized, there was no resistance.2

With liberal media, almost without recent precedent, starting to withdraw some of its support for the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, it appears likely that Trump will win the election, despite the multiple cheating means the Democrats have long had at their disposal.

Although in any fair election Trump would presumably win by a landslide (just as he actually did in 2020), the controlled media and vote manipulation may make it appear that Trump won by a very narrow margin, sparking resistance from worn-out claims of “Russian collusion” (despite media insistence that the 2020 election was “the most safe and secure” in American history, invulnerable to interference).

Trump fans would rejoice at his election victory. But by falsely claiming that Trump “stole” the 2024 election by a narrow margin, Antifa and BLM mobs, backed by George Soros, could march through the streets—just as they did after the George Floyd incident—burning down cities and committing unrestrained violence. In this they might be joined by millions of illegal immigrants, who would know that a Trump Presidency would mean their deportation and loss of all their free benefits. I believe that liberal Democratic “Sanctuary State” governors—such as Maura Healey, lesbian governor of my state of Massachusetts—would probably resist any significant federal attempts to deport illegals. This could result in outright civil war. All of this chaos could be exacerbated by an cyber attack/EMP/power outage (destroying communications and supply chains—which Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum have been hinting at for some time). Imagine the chaos if, in the midst of riots, no one could reach police or fire departments, and loss of supply chains emptied out grocery stores.

With the nation in turmoil, Trump might invoke martial law (a military dictatorship), which would mean suspension of the United States Constitution—the path to totalitarianism. Regrettably, many Trump followers, who have come to view him as savior, would accept this, even though they would have resisted it under Kamala Harris. This, I believe, is the chief risk to the glorification of Trump.

The other danger to a Trump presidency, demonstrated during his first term by his continuous deference to Israel, is his willingness to commit the United States to a war with Iran. U.S. soldiers, traditionally patriotic, would be far likelier to go to war under Trump than under Harris, and the Deep State knows this. Before anyone cheers on the idea of such a war, let me point out that the Iraq War—launched under the false claim that Iraq possessed “Weapons of Mass Destruction”—lasted a decade, cost hundreds of thousands of lives and trillions of dollars, and wasn’t won. War advocates should bear in mind that Iran is four times larger than Iraq. It should also be remembered that Iran is an ally of Russia and China, meaning that war against Iran could invoke a Third World War, ultimately leading to the possibility of a nuclear exchange.

I think it important to quote, at this point, the remarks of satanist Albert Pike, the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction (making him the highest-ranking Freemason in America). He predicted three world wars in a letter allegedly written to Guiseppe Mazzini in 1871. Here is the text relevant to a third world war:

The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “Agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam and political Zionism mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion. . . .We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view.

The letter, laying out the road to rule by the Antichrist (Lucifer), was cited as being in the British Museum by such authors as Cardinal Caro y Rodriguez in The Mystery of Freemasonry Unveiled (1925). However, since the British Museum denied the letter existed—i.e., that the Cardinal and others had fabricated it—it is not surprising that the letter conveniently “vanished” and that mainstream media now denounce it as merely “conspiracy theory.”

However, whether one accepts the letter’s authenticity or not, the century-old accuracy of its quoted predictions are difficult to deny. The letter forecast that the Third World War would begin as a conflict between “Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World.” Today, as Benjamin Netanyahu not only undertakes the genocidal bombing of Gaza (predicated on a typical Israeli false flag), but has launched repeated unprovoked strikes on Israel’s neighbors, including Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. It is as if Netanyahu is deliberately trying to trigger World War III, confident that if any of his enemies truly retaliate, he can proclaim Israel is “the victim of antisemitic aggression,” with America committed to unconditionally supporting him.

The second part of Pike’s prediction was:

We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil.

This sounds very much like a possible Soros-backed alliance of Antifa, BLM, and weaponized immigrants, which could be expected to follow a Trump electoral victory. If Trump commits the bulk of U.S. troops to a war against Iran, few would remain to defend the homeland from internal chaos.

Again, the end result could be Trump invoking martial law and suspending the Constitution—something his followers would stubbornly resist if ordered by Kamala Harris, but accepted by them if committed to a “Trump knows best” ideology. Concurrent with this, Trump supporters might also accept the introduction—in the name of “national security”—such WEF measures as a surveillance state, digital ID, digital currency, and—as occurred during his first administration—acceptance of lockdowns and “warp-speeded” mRNA vaccines, should the Bill Gates cabal unleash another bioweapon.

Thus may lie the danger of the glorification and deification of Donald Trump: the introduction of “the new world order” without his followers even knowing it.
